[Sunlight] Mercy and wrath

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Everyone can distinguish mercy from wrath,
whether he is wise or innocent or corrupt,
but a mercy hidden in wrath,
or wrath hidden in the heart of mercy
can only be recognized by one whose heart
contains a spiritual touchstone.

Qahr-râ az lotf dânad har kasi
khvâh dânâ khvâh nâ-dân yâ khassi
Lik lotfi qahr dar panhân shodeh
yâ qahri dar del-e lotf âmadeh
Kam kasi dânad magar rabbâniyi
kash bovad dar del mehakk-e jâniyi
