[Sunlight] Inherited wealth

Inherited wealth never remains constant in the hands of its owner,
since against its will it was parted from the one who died.
Because the heir received it so easily, he doesn't know its value;
he never hastened to work and toil in order to earn it.
O so-and-so, you don't know the value of your own soul
because from His abundance, God gave it to you freely.

Mâl-e mirâsi na-dârad khvod vafâ
chon be-nâ-kâm az gozashteh shod jodâ
U na-dânad qadr ham k-âsân biyâft
ku be-kadd o ranj o kasbesh kam shetâft
Qadr-e jân z-ân mi na-dâni ay folân
keh be-dâdet Haqq be-bakhshesh râygân
