Today's Mathnawi selection is accompanied by a Persian

This world is a sea, and the body a fish,
and the spirit is Jonah
kept from the light of the dawn.
If the spirit is filled with glorifying God,*
it will be delivered from the fish;
otherwise it is digested and disappears.
